Tax Effective Giving
Put simply, gift aid is money we can reclaim from the government if the person making the donation pays UK tax. If someone signs a Gift Aid declaration and includes their name, address and postcode, we can claim back a further 28% on their donation!! Companies can also reclaim tax on their donations- the most up to date information can be found here- Tax effective giving. Gift Aid regulations are in place– it can’t be reclaimed on goods or services.
