The people who use our services are represented at every level of our organisation and are included on the Board of Directors. This is because many of them have chosen to become trained volunteers, delivering services alongside staff and supporting other people with depression to get better. This approach to mental health service provision is unique to Aware Defeat Depression and ensures that the people who use our services are involved in their development as well as delivery. Volunteers and staff work together with mental health professionals, to provide the best possible self-help support services for people with depression, in Northern Ireland.
Information requests via our website
It has very recently been brought to our attention that there has been a problem with the information requests via our website. We would like to apologise to anybody who has tried to use this to contact us and has not received a response from us. The fault has been rectified and we are now able to receive requests for information and updates through the website.
