Fundraising
Although we get some statutory funding towards delivering our community services, it is not sufficient and we rely on voluntary fundraising from the public to maintain our listening ear helpline, our support groups and our public education and training programmes. We welcome all the assistance we can get with our fundraising activities and there are a variety of things you can get involved with, from hosting your own event to helping out with some of our scheduled fundraising activities on the calendar below.
As part of our Christmas fundraising appeal 2008 we are looking for people to take part in our street collections in Ballyclare on 6th December and in Belfast on 23rd December. If you can donate an hour of your time to help out with either of these events please contact Alison on 028 9032 1734 or email Alison@aware-ni.org.
All funds will be used to help us maintain our community based support groups and helpline for people with depression and may help save someone’s life, by preventing them from suicide
